I would think they would test ideas with Dust so they can release Legion on a better note when it is time. Like a Legion test server.

I don't think the locked roles are a good idea.
You can swap stuff as you unlock it between trees, but not wanting to duplicate skills in other trees makes new suits hard to add doesn't it?

...So THAT was what that weird suit in the slide was.
You will have access to droplinks, just you'll have to skill into that tree before you can use them with other suits. Its basically the same, you'll just have a better idea of roles now.
